Gnurps Consulting builds websites using standards-compliant code, mainly XHTML and CSS, adding JavaScript for flourish and PHP for database links and server scripts.
View our registration system for the annual CEDAR scientific conference, which uses PHP with Filemaker Server as the database engine. A sample of the PHP code is here.
Gnurps Consulting has built static websites such as The Chicks Guide, which uses modern CSS to make columns and control appearance. See the site of outdoor educator Leahy and Associates for an example that employs traditional "roll-over" navigation using JavaScript and builds its shopping cart with the Miva Merchant system.
Gnurps Consulting has also managed website development for a number of clients, working with other designers and developers. Please see current examples such as the Heliophysics Summer School and the UCAR Visiting Scientist Programs, where we worked with Boulder's Insight Designs to get snazzy appearance, then built the pages using their styles.
